Building a Catalogue

Looking towards next year I want to be able to fill my photographic calendar with a nice healthy mix of weddings, boudoir, bumps and babies... So this year is all about building towards that goal. Why not now I hear you ask?  Well mostly, I don't actually know where I am going to be.  Once I move I will be able to sort out my future business plans but until then I am kinda stuck.  So for now it's all about learning, improving, building a following and preparing.

One Summers Day

Right back at the beginning of my rediscovery of photography a few years back  I joined a group of other photographers on a sunny afternoon  in some woods in Leicestershire,  we split up into 3 companiable groups, with a model each and spent several happy hours talking, laughing and taking photos.

Got to admit, a pretty great way to spend an afternoon, thoroughly enjoyable,  after 45 minutes we would all meet up, swap models and wander off again.  This was followed by a bbq and a chat about our mutual love of photography.  Kinda Tog Geekfest.

TJ was one of the models from one of those get togethers.

On a Mission

I am on a mission currently to archive a load of my photographic work in readiness for a big house move, so storing away my images safely is pretty high on my agenda.  Some external hard drives and loads of DVD Roms on standby for the transfer, but trying to be sensible about it and having a good old clear out at the same time.

Funnily enough I am finding some great images I either passed over or didn't have time to edit or didn't get chosen by people in their selections.

So having a very enjoyable time editing some older images with fresh eyes and much  improved skills and imagination.

So what this space for some new but ever so slightly old work popping up.

Carmen

A little reediting time that has gone well, this shoot was 2 years ago now.  wow how time has flown,   Carmen was one of the first group shoots I attended and a great experience it was,  it's what kicked off my rediscovery of my love for photography.  After this shoot  I upgraded my kit and haven't looked back since.   I think I will revisit editing some more of my early work.
